The United Nations Foundation links the UN’s work with others around the world, mobilizing the energy and expertise of business and non-governmental organizations to help the UN tackle issues including climate change, global health, peace and security, women's empowerment, poverty eradication, energy access, and U.S.-UN relations.
The Nothing But Nets Spring 2021 Development Intern will work closely with the Grassroots Development Officer, Development Coordinator, and other members of the fundraising team. An ideal Development Intern would exhibit strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and interest in working on a variety of aspects as related to the campaign’s fundraising initiatives.
The Development Intern will work with the Nothing But Nets Development Team to support the campaign’s many fundraising initiatives, including but not limited to grassroots donor stewardship, outreach to schools and faith-based organizations, research and prospecting, and supporting the development of materials, toolkits, reports, and presentations.
Applicants should have an understanding of and interest in grassroots campaigns and nonprofit development. Flexibility and interest in working on a variety of aspects of the campaign is critical, including grassroots engagement, stewardship, partnerships, and general fundraising. The United Nations Foundation offers unpaid full and part-time internships. We are happy to host interns who are able to receive academic credit or a stipend through their college or university. However, please note that it is not a requirement in order to intern with us.
